If you have read John C. Maxwell’s book titled “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership” you will definitely want to get your hands on his Revised and Updated 10th Anniversary Edition. It is a book you will want to keep on your bookshelf for years to come as there is much insight to gain on how to become a leader and/or a more effective leader.

The new revised edition includes seventeen new leadership stories, two new laws of leadership, an evaluation tool to reveal your leadership strengths and weaknesses and application exercises in every chapter to help you grow in your leadership abilities.

This week I am excited and somewhat nervous as I will be starting a program at the library that I volunteered to do with my kids and other home schooled kids in the community to explore our world with resources found in the library as well the internet. We will be doing some hands on projects, encouraging lap booking, note booking as take home activities as well as having a sharing time each week for the kids to share an interesting fact they learned, a report they wrote, a project they did with the rest of the kids

The program I hope inspires kids to be more interested in science, nature and history and to learn how to find and utilize the vast resources in the library as well as the internet to do their research on the various topics we will be covering over the year.

Although this is a program I am doing in my community, I will also be posting each week at the Explore Your World @ the Virtual Library for you to follow along virtually if you’d like. The community is where parents can share some of their own home school curriculum as well and where students and teachers have a lounge to hang out in. Each week I hope to put up a free downloadable note booking pages to help you in the unit studies.
