This book was a very quick and simple read yet was wonderfully thought provoking! It was one of the books featured at Harper One for the “Pass One On” project for Real People. Real Change. Real Stories.

With the theme scripture for 2008 being “Be Still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10a, the title of this book caught my attention and I wanted to not only read this book to give a review of it but for myself to start the year out by learning to see the sacred in my every day living and encourage others to do so as well. This book isn’t about Christianity or any religion for that matter but has a great message for us all.

This year I will be exploring God’s Holiness in order to learn to be still and know that He is God. I will be studying out all His attributes throughout the year and meditating on this inspirational bible verse.
