Meet Mother Hunter – An Extraordinary Woman

I wanted to bring you an incredible woman of God who is the mother of 21 children, 60 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren not only because of the great things she has accomplished with her family but also for her hard work she has done in her life in order to make a difference in other peoples lives as well. She has been on a mission to change the lives of people in America and will appear on Fox and Friends with the family on November 24th, 2007, live from Racine, Wisconsin that you won’t want to miss.

The photo above is of Mother Hunter from an article written up on her in Ebony Magazine.

Another article titled “The Heart of Love and Charity” was also written up on her in Article write up in Today’s Christian Magazine Today’s Christian Magazine as shown in the photo to the right.

Her son, Paul Hunter, child 19 of the 21, contacted me and told me a little bit about his incredible mother. From the little he shared, I couldn’t pass up featuring her as our Christian Women’s Resources Kingdom Builder and during this holiday season because it truly is an inspiring story of Hope, Love and Charity. Her ministry is called Love and Charity Homeless Shelter and the title of the book that was written by Dr. Woods, one of the many peoples lives she has touched is also called Love and Charity that tells all about her life.

She is a woman who exemplifies being a servant of God who lives in order to make a difference in other peoples lives. If you feel led to help out during this holiday season or any other time of year to contribute to the Love and Charity Homeless Shelter facility in order to help pay their electric bill send your contribution to:

3:16 The Numbers of Hope by Max Lucado

Max Lucado has always been a favorite author of mine so when I heard about his new book coming out at a time when our nation needs to be reminded of hope, I had to get the book. We all know the familiar scripture John 3:16 but sometimes when things are too familiar we lose the meaning or the impact of the scripture isn’t as great any more.

Max Lucado does a great job taking this familiar scripture and putting the impact back into it so our hearts are moved again by it as it should be. The book also includes a 40 day devotional in the back of the book that is wonderful.
